About ICM
The International Club of Maputo (ICM) is an English language women's club offering opportunities for camaraderie, culture and contacts to English speaking women of all ages and nationalities living in Mozambique. The Club currently has ca. 60 members from over 20 countries. All are residents of Maputo and Matola.
Our club meetings are a time to socialize and get to know each other. When possible, we invite guests to speak on topics which would interest our members.
Excursions are organized to sights in and around Maputo. Whereas we are primarily a social club, we also engage in charitable activities in the Maputo area. We meet once a month, always the 3rd Tuesday of the month, usually in the home of one of our members.
We also meet for tea once a month. Usually our teas are the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

Where to find us?
The easiest way to hook up with us is to come to our afternoon tea. The tea is open to members, their guests and newcomers to Maputo. We meet the second Tuesday of the month at 2pm, usually at the historic Polana Hotel. However as the Polana is currently under renovation, the tea is now held at the poolside cafe in the Indy Village, Maputo. Alternatively, you can email us at icm_maputo@hotmail.com.
Joining ICM?
Annual membership fees are 500 MZN. These are due by the September meeting for the duration of the ICM year. If you join after the annual general meeting in May, we have a special membership fee of 150 MZN for the duration of the Summer. Please print and fill out the membership form and give it along with the fees to any of our Board members.

Elections for the ICM Board are announced at the April meeting and are held each May, at the annual general meeting (AGM). The board serves from that date until the next annual general meeting.
